Parent Involvement

 

 

 

High Scope views parent involvement as vitally important. Teachers take the opprtunity to talk with parents as they pick up or drop off their children and anytime they visit the classroom. Teachers also meet with parents periodically to review childrens progress and discuss information from the Preschool Child Observation Record.

 

Parents offer essential information about the childs development, strengths, needs, and strategies used at home. No one plays a more important role in a childs life than the parent.
